The original Rotary project was recognized for its quality and impacts in the August, 2016, edition of Rotarian Magazine (“The Visionaries: Young women in Peru learn to see a future for themselves”) and earned numerous awards, including the 2013 District 5450 Scott Metcalf Award for Outstanding New Project, the 2014 Humanitarian Award of the Boulder Rotary Club, and the 2015 District 5450 World Community Service Award.
